I contacted Vita to inquire about recreating (and slightly customizing) a painting I'd fallen in love with, after I tried to order it from a gallery and learned it had just been sold. The experience of commissioning this painting went above and beyond all expectation. Vita was responsive, curious, interested (and interesting!), and overall did an incredible job of keeping her project manager/artist role while also helping to flush out the vision of what I was asking for. She also assisted with questions about packaging and framing in order to truly bring my vision to life. Finally, everything was done much sooner than I'd anticipated. The quality of the work and the image itself brings more feeling and movement into our living space, and each time I look at it, I'm reminded of the kindness, creativity and humanity that this commission process gifted to me.

Gorgeous painting of a tiger for my 'cat' collection. Love the vibrant colors. The packaging was superb as well. Would definitely purchase another painting from Vita Schagen. Thanks for making my day!

A very nice picture of a child, in oil on paper. My choice was hurt by two cases of misunderstanding; the drawing was on paper, which I wasn't expecting, and the size was metric, which I read as inches, so I was a bit surprised when I received it. The artist did a wonderful job, and I am happy with my purchase. Bob
