Yesterday I saw the shadows cast by the dracaena that stood by my studio window. And watercolor blue flowers were born on paper with orange middles. It's a fictional flower, but it's beautiful. Each painting in this series is exclusive and cannot be repeated.
My watercolors are the world I live in before I paint it.
I paint sun shadows, real shadows that plants cast. With my brush and watercolor I turn them into images, into plants that may not exist in nature.
The process of creating each work is an inspiration to me.
