Where Light Gathers (2025) Original Oil Painting by Egle Ra

Original Abstract Oil Painting on Canvas | By Egle Ra

Where Light Gathers is inspired by those fleeting moments in nature when sunlight finds its way through layers of foliage and flowers, illuminating small pockets of the landscape.
Warm ochres, earthy browns, deep greens and soft whites come together in expressive layers, creating a sense of depth and movement. The loose floral forms emerge from the darker surroundings, catching the eye like little fragments of light scattered across a wild meadow.
Painted in oils, the work balances rich, atmospheric colour with spontaneous brushstrokes and delicate marks. Rather than depicting a specific place, it captures the feeling of being surrounded by nature, when everything seems to glow for just a moment.
A warm and atmospheric original painting, Where Light Gathers brings the quiet beauty and changing light of the natural world into the home.
