Original artwork description
This painting is, for me, about a moment when everything is still taking shape. A time of growth, when many changes still lie ahead, yet each stage already holds its own beauty.
The artichoke is shown in three states — closed, flowering, and opened to reveal its inner structure. I wanted to express the idea that true value is often hidden beneath outer layers, and that every stage of life has its own unique form.
This work is about growth, maturity, and the beauty of gradually unfolding into what we are meant to become.
