What Darkness Promised US (2026) Print by Magnus Gjoen

100 x 40cm (unframed)

1 Artist Review

£850

In a moment when nations invest more in defence than in culture, the balance between those ideas begins to shift. What we choose to protect becomes clearer; what we risk leaving behind, less so. The work does not resolve that tension. Instead, it holds it in place - inviting the viewer to consider what endures, what disappears, and what, exactly, was promised in the first place.

Materials used:

Archival pigment inks on 308gsm museum grade cotton rag

Details:

  • Print on Paper
  • From a limited edition of 50
  • Size: 100 x 40cm (unframed)
  • Signed and numbered on the front
  • Style: Urban and Pop
  • Subject: Still life
