Original artwork description
A geometric abstract relief created on a 24 x 30 x 0.5 cm hardwood ply board.
Featuring MDF shapes with aged vintage papers on the surfaces and arranged where form and colour compliment the minimal design. The board and voids reveal a matt white acrylic, while the edge of the board has a dark wood stain to match the 3mm edges of the shapes. The board was gessoed prior to painting and shapes treated to a wood sealer before collaging.
This piece could be propped on a shelf, presented in a tray frame or framed behind glass. A UV mat protective spay has been applied to the finished artwork.
It can be placed in any direction.
