Pigs are gentle, intelligent animals with complex personalities. However, about 3.8 to 4 million pigs are slaughtered every day around the world. Pigs that are raised for meat are typically slaughtered at 5 to 6 months old. They are artificially fattened to reach market weight sooner. When a pig’s natural lifespan would be 10-15 years.

Throughout their shortened life span, they endure intense confinement, painful physical mutilations, and distressing slaughter methods on a daily basis. Worse more, factory raised piglets are subjected to castration, tail docking, and teeth clipping without pain relief before being transported in cramped trucks to slaughterhouses, where they are stunned using high-voltage electricity or carbon dioxide gas. The cruelty towards pigs and all farmhouse animals are unfathomable.

YOU have a choice. A choice to be kind, to be cruelty free. To not cause harm to another living being. But WOULD YOU?
