After going to the refuge for wildlife in the spring I was inspired and excited to paint this gorgeous scene as I saw it. It was in full spring bloom with poppies, buttercups and lupine. Lily pods with reeds and grasses fill the foreground while the sunset shines through the sky silhouetting the coastal landscape dotted with flowering nut trees.

Materials used:

Professional premium canvas wrapped around the sides continuing the painting. Triple gesso surface of canvas using only the finest of materials and paints.
