Waiting for the next trip (2022) Original Oil Painting by Kujbus Janos

🔷 STORY
In "Waiting for the next trip (1)," I dive into the psychological divergence of human desire, exploring the silent tension between the urge to escape and the craving for domestic tranquility. The painting acts as an analysis of how differently we process anticipation. On one side, I portray the restless archetype—individuals detached from their immediate surroundings, mentally already on the move, paralyzed by the constant expectation of the next horizon. On the other side, I reflect an innate longing for stillness, rooted in the harmony of ordinary moments and connection to nature. By juxtaposing these conflicting paths without direct interaction, my artwork reflects the complex search for identity in a fragmented world.
