This little blue jay is from a photograph I took during a late spring snow in the mountains of Kentucky. He was visiting my bird feeder and was fluffed up against the cold wind. I imagined that he was longing for the warm breezes of spring.

Acrylic on canvas, finished with a satin varnish to protect it from dust and UV rays. This work is framed and ready to hang.
