Voices Unheard (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Samantha Malone

"Voices Unheard" is a richly layered abstract painting exploring connection, presence and the complexity of communication.

Three abstract figures emerge through bold geometric forms and overlapping shapes, creating a subtle dialogue between them. Burgundy, mustard, green, blue, orange and warm earthy tones sit against areas of soft creamy white, giving the composition both energy and balance.

The surface is rich and tactile, with subtle texture adding depth and movement throughout the work. I wanted the painting to be expressive yet restrained, suggesting a conversation taking place beyond words. A meeting of different voices, gestures and emotions, some expressed and others left unheard.

Medium: Acrylic paint on gallery grade canvas.

The artwork was painted on un-stretched Italian cotton canvas, with a 6cm border left for stretching onto a canvas frame. This artwork is shipped rolled in a tube for safe international delivery and can be affordably stretched at your local framing store.
