On the road to Rye in East Sussex from Appledore yields fine views of the Isle of Oxney with the Church at Stone and some vineyards clear visible on the hills. Today the Isle of Oxney is not an island at all but still retains the name given many hundreds of years ago.
This original watercolour is that view on a warm summers day.
It is 54 cms by 34 and is painted on Arches 300 gsm paper.
It will be shipped in a cardboard tube, at no extra charge, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
