I bought this painting for very personal reasons having visited the scene several times when I was growing up in Kent more then fifty years ago - the website description and photograph is true to the original and the painting was posted to me in a secure tube within a few days of my purchase. I also exchanged a few emails with the artist too and I am looking forward to getting it frames and hanging in my home

I am absolutely delighted with my watercolour. It is beautifully painted and every time I look at it I think of Rye, one of my most favourite places to visit.
