A radiant mountain village glows with the color and texture of a sunlit autumn day in this exuberant palette-knife landscape. Hayk Miqayelyan builds the scene from thick, sculptural slabs of paint — golden valleys, fiery ochre cliffs, and slopes flickering with pink, blue, and violet, all crowned by a snow-capped ridge beneath a clear cobalt sky. A little hilltop chapel presides over clustered houses and slender trees, while a winding turquoise river threads through the warm fields below. The vigorous impasto and jubilant palette transform the landscape into a living mosaic of light and energy. Joyful and richly textured, this is a heartfelt celebration of the rugged beauty of the Armenian highlands.
