China Cove in Point Lobos is famously known for its emerald luminous water. I often set up my plein air easel in the area, working to catch the feel of the place and the fleeting light. This is a plein air work (painted on location), which features thick, sweeping brushstrokes to showcase the movement of the water, reflections, and the texture of the cliffs.
Materials: Professional quality oil paint on 8"x10" Centurion Oil-primed DLX Linen panel. Varnished with Gamvar varnish. Ready to frame. It will easily slot into a standard 8"x10" picture frame.

Materials used:

oil paint, linen canvas, Centurion OP DLX panel, Gamvar varnish
