Vestige *Diptych second panel (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Kseniia Turik

50 x 150 x 3cm (unframed)

Vestige – Dark Panel (Diptych) | 50 × 150 cm

Original abstract painting on canvas.

Vestige – Dark Panel is the counterpart to a luminous diptych, created in deep Prussian blue enriched with pearlescent layers and subtle bronze undertones. Designed in dialogue with the light panel, it brings depth, contrast, and a grounded architectural presence while amplifying the luminosity of its pair.

The surface is built from layered translucent glazes, shifting between inky density and soft atmospheric depth. Bronze reflections appear only in changing light, creating a restrained metallic pulse beneath the surface rather than a decorative effect.

This work balances structure and fluidity, silence and tension. Its composition feels geological and slow-moving, as if light is captured within stratified mineral layers.

The semi-matte finish preserves colour depth and softens reflection, allowing the painting to integrate seamlessly into contemporary, minimalist, and luxury interiors.

Ideal as modern wall art for refined spaces, this piece can be displayed alone or paired with its light counterpart to complete the Vestige diptych—creating a dialogue between luminosity and depth, presence and absence.
