Underwater Colors (2019) Original Oil Painting by Liubov Kuptsova

Underwater Colors is an expressive abstract oil painting inspired by the movement, light and vibrant colors of an imaginary underwater world.
Created entirely with a palette knife, the painting combines deep blues and turquoise with vivid pink, red, green and yellow. Abstract fish-like forms move through the composition, creating a feeling of freedom, energy and weightlessness.
The artwork was created intuitively, using textured layers and spontaneous palette-knife gestures rather than brushes. My intention was not to depict a particular underwater scene, but to capture the emotion of being immersed in colour and movement.
An original, one-of-a-kind oil painting, signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
