I am drawn to the nude as a symbol of vulnerability, and I am inspired by how the posture or stance of a body can offer information into the psyche of the person in the frame.

When I give a print a title I sit quietly in front of the image until the right words come to me. In this case uncertainty immediately came to mind. When I look at the face of the woman there seems to be some of that in her eyes as she looks backwards as though reconsidering something. But it is also likely a result of the feelings floating around in my own mind in this period.

As all prints are hand pressed, each will have some minor differences, which I believe adds to the character of the print. I cannot guarantee that you will receive the edition featured in the photo
