This is a medium sized abstract acrylic painting functioning as a statement piece for any room. I have developed a Mid century composition; influenced with muted but colourful mark making to brighten the onlooker's mood. Look closely and will see symbols representing the four elements, air, water, fire & earth. This painting reveals my interest in complementary colours and colour discords and how these can affect our emotions.
I strive to make a balanced composition using these colour manipulations. If you study my artworks you will note that the larger paintings can be divided up equally into smaller paintings that stand alone successfully; this demonstrates my commitment to finding the perfect balanced composition.

The painting incorporates a spectrum of blues and a hint of yellow which will complement the current trend for darker colours & interiors.
