The little wren is unfortunately on the endangered species list.
Having re-wilded our garden, we have recently spotted four separate wren families.
This makes me so happy :)
The message of this painting is peaceful, and the creation of the painting is a mindful exercise in itself. The canvas is covered in several layers of silver acrylic paint and each layer is gently sanded to create a beautiful smooth surface before painting each bird with oil paints and fine brushes.
Signed and titled on the back ~ Ready to hang
