Today I have a new inhabitant in my studio. Areca. A palm tree in miniature. Looking at it and admiring the beautiful shadows from the leaves, I imagined a lively, cheerful conversation between two pals. A watercolor was born.
I love to look for meaning in the shadows that plants cast. Interpreting them in my own way, I live each image and paint as my heart sees it. I am not going to paint in the same way. Departing from the usual idea of nature, I see flowers in the shadow of leaves and vice versa. My work is expressive but at the same time filled with love and serenity.

My watercolors are the world I live in before I paint it.
