“True Colors Don’t Fade” is a visual declaration of identity reclaimed.
The chameleon, often seen as a symbol of adaptation and camouflage, appears here not as a creature hiding — but as one returning to its essence.
The vibrant colors layered across its form are fragments of personal history:
memories, emotions, scars, awakenings.
They are not worn to attract or to please — they are the truth that survived.
The repeated phrase “BE YOURSELF” in the background acts like the internal voice that many of us struggle to hear. Sometimes faint, sometimes urgent, sometimes almost forgotten — yet always present.
In this work, that voice rises to the surface.
