About the Artwork

Toscana No. 2 is an abstract interpretation of memory, landscape, and vitality, inspired by the atmosphere of the Italian countryside. Rather than depicting a literal scene, the painting captures the sensation of being immersed in nature — the intensity of sunlight, the movement of wind through trees, and the extraordinary richness of colour and life.

Through expressive gestures, spontaneous brushstrokes, and vibrant layers of colour, I wanted to translate the emotional experience of a place rather than reproduce its physical appearance.

The painting reflects the energy of Tuscany as remembered through feeling: warm light, fertile earth, endless landscapes, and the delicate tension between tranquillity and wildness. Each layer carries traces of movement and time, inviting the viewer to explore the composition as they might wander through an unfamiliar landscape.

The glossy varnished surface enhances the richness and depth of the colours, allowing light to interact with the textures and bringing a constantly changing sense of movement to the painting.

Toscana No. 2 is not simply a landscape of colour, but a celebration of freedom, memory, and the beautiful unpredictability of nature.

A Personal Note from the Artist

My paintings reflect my life experiences, emotions, and personal journey. Each artwork tells its own story and invites the viewer to discover a personal connection with it.

I work entirely independently. From creating each painting and photographing the finished artwork to writing descriptions, sourcing materials, preparing packaging, and arranging shipments, every step is handled personally by me.

I share this not as a complaint, but as a glimpse into the dedication and personal involvement behind each piece.

I do my best to keep my prices accessible because I believe original art should be something people can enjoy and live with, while still respecting the time, materials, creativity, and energy invested in every artwork.

Presentation and Colour Information

The artwork is offered unstretched and unframed.

Any images showing the painting in an interior or with a frame are for presentation purposes only, illustrating how the artwork might look in different spaces.

Please note that colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting, and display calibration. This is particularly noticeable with black, gold, and neon shades.

Packaging and Shipping

The artwork will be shipped as a rolled, unstretched canvas to ensure safe and practical transportation.

It will be carefully protected, securely wrapped, and packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube or suitable protective box.

Upon arrival, the canvas can be professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars or framed by a local framing specialist.

Minor waves or creases may occasionally appear during transportation. This is normal for rolled canvas and can generally be corrected through professional stretching.

All shipments are arranged through reliable courier services such as DPD, GLS, or similar providers, with particular attention to careful packaging and secure delivery.

Although occasional courier delays are beyond my control, I personally monitor shipments and remain available to assist with tracking or any delivery-related concerns.

Thank you for appreciating my art and supporting independent creativity.

I hope Toscana No. 2 brings colour, energy, and a little piece of the Italian countryside into its new home.
