Original artwork description:

Part of a pair of Original Pencil Drawings by Paul Stowe, the other being a White Rhino - this drawings depicts a young Elephant - drawn to raise money for the 'Save the Elephant' organisation (with each print sold I am donating 20% of the sale price when purchased from my website).

Drawn on Bristol Board Smooth paper and measuring 37.5cm wide and 52.5cm high, the complete drawing took around 40+ hours to finish.

The drawing is being sold unframed to reduce shipping costs - however I can offer a bespoke framing service as required - To ship with the same frame used in the example photos will cost and additional £100 - just send me a message to discuss.

Turning professional in 2016 Paul has won accolades across the globe, initially exhibiting and selling work in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand he now resides in the centre for contemporary British Art and the Tate Modern Gallery, St. Ives, Cornwall.
From his open studio and commercial gallery in the town he spends hours, weeks and months drawing incredibly detailed images inspired by the plethora of artists and art in the local area.
His work is on permanent display in 'The Stowe Gallery' in St. Ives and with individual and corporate collections across the world.

Paul have also made this original piece available as a limited reproduction of his work to just 100 very high quality Giclee prints, the image measures 30cm x 40cm and comes with an additional 3cm border - These are printed by Whitewall of Germany on Hahnemühle Photo Rag and are hand signed and numbered. Once Framed the piece measures 48cm x 60cm.

The Paper

With a weight of 308g/m² the Photo Rag is one of the most robust papers from Hahnemühle. It is made of 100% cotton and has a matte surface. With its soft, fine texture, this paper is very versatile and is well suited for Paul's work.

The Ink

Premium K3 pigment print for extra fine tonal variations

Whitewall use the Epson Inkjet 11880 printer for there special, 6-colour UltraChrome K3 pigment print. A total of nine ink cartridges - six colours and three shades of black - ensures the very finest tonality. In the deep blacks and light areas of your theThe image content is reproduced with a perfect grey balance and an ultra-high resolution of 1,440 dpi. Perhaps even more impressive, however, is that the colours of the Hahnemühle Fine Art Premium print will look just as good as the original, even after 100 years.
