Original artwork description
Reaching Tintern in Wales I found a beautiful Abbey. It is a big old structure, half fallen down, showing the remains of the abbey that it has been many years ago. I walked around it for several hours, trying to find the right angle; the right shadow and light combination; the right composition to capture this big ruin.
When I sat down at the river that runs next to this abbey, I got hypnotised by a little boat that was anchored there.
It was floating in the middle, with no means reaching it, as the current of this river too strong to swim.
So how did it got there? Who's is it? How long has it been there?
Many questions rose up, and it intrigued me so much, that I couldn't let it go. I decided to paint this mystery instead!
