Artwork description
Sold Out All Ten prints in this edition are now sold.
I have just completed a new, larger version which will be listed soon. Contact me if you would like to know when it is listed.
A reduction linocut capturing the sky reflected in a pool of water at Robin Hood's Bay in Yorkshire. When I visited the tide was a long way out.
This is a completely new linocut using the same source image used to make 'Tide's Out (at Robin Hood's Bay)' which has sold out.
A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.
This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit straight into a standard off-the-shelf 10x12inch frame.
This artwork will be packaged in a bubble envelope with plenty of card support for safety.
Materials used:
Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Framed in 21mm natural oak.
Details:
- Linocut on Paper
- From a limited edition of 10
- Size: 34 x 29 x 1.5cm (framed) / 20 x 15cm (actual image size)
