Through Time (2005) Original Oil Painting by Oleg Ilnitsky

60.96 x 91.44 x 4.32cm (unframed)

Through Time explores geometry, space, movement, and the mysterious nature of time. Triangular planes, spheres, a suspended cube, and intersecting lines move through a textured blue atmosphere, creating a sense of depth and movement.

The idea for this painting originated during my Mechanical Engineering studies at the National Technical University in the 1990s, where geometry, technical drawing, and three-dimensional forms became part of my visual thinking. Years later, those influences found their artistic expression in Through Time.

The painting celebrates the abstract beauty of geometric forms and the fluidity of time, combining precise structures with a surreal, imagined space. Through Time is a thought-provoking piece that challenges the boundaries of perception and reality, inviting the viewer into a mysterious world where geometry, space, and time seem to intersect.
