Acrylic painting on canvas. This abstract interpretation of a landscape uses contemporary shapes and bold colours to give a whimsical and modern painting. The artist has used rich jewel tone colours with a rich royal blue and red, to contrast the autumnal hues in the trees and leaves. This has been enhanced with the iridescent paints on surface that give a three-dimensional look to catch different light enhancing it in all conditions. The artist has acrylic paint to give rich colour and texture on the painting. The contemporary shapes used play on natural woodlands and allow many colours to complement each other with distinct layering.
