Original artwork description:

Queen Elizabeth 2nd died yesterday, I didn't work for the rest of the day..I've completed this today, whilst feeling the strangeness of it. I can not call myself a royalist, however I have a huge amount of respect for Queen Elizabeth 2nd. This painting does not have a direct significance to the passing of our Queen, however I am compelled to mention her today. Thank you for being a strong, courageous, brave head of our country.
The title comes from The Lords prayer (again I am not religious but it simply came to me while thinking of a title) Maybe this is because I am thinking about the Queen and mortality....

...this day, our daily bread... is painted with brush work and palette knife.
