Original artwork description:

An escape from a cold reality, ‘The wonderings of a monkey’ embodies the childish reverence of unexplored, far-off places.
The painting has an ambiguous narrative; one that can describe a variety of themes, each awoken by the viewer’s frame of mind.
These, for example, could be tales of harmony and of companionship, or alternatively of something more ominous.
One interpretation could well be that the narrative puts humanity in its place, unifying the animal kingdom. This implies that it is a painting about unity; celebrating humility in our short lives.
