Original artwork description
" The Things we block out " poignantly reminds the discerning viewer that the passage of time bestows upon us the invaluable gift of emotional maturity—an essential lens through which we may not only acknowledge and embrace our scars, but also harness their transformative power to forge a renewed sense of wholeness. In this painting, Holt beckons us to embark upon an introspective odyssey, ultimately emerging with a profound appreciation for the resilience that defines our shared humanity.
In this case as with the others ‘Creative Window 02’ works, I’m using just ink which is brought to life by the J. Herbin Burmese Amber which captures an autumnal look and reacts differently with both natural and artificial light.
Notes:
> Artist does not artificially edit photos or use room mock ups.
> Work is supplied with a white border mount and backing board making the work easier to frame and buyer must budget for a frame.
