This painting grew out of a tranquil summer moment by the sea, inspired by my plein air journey through Croatia, where sunlight shimmers across the water and everything feels open and unburdened. The sailboat becomes more than a form — it emerges as a symbol of freedom, of quiet forward motion, carried gently by wind and light.
I aimed to capture not just a place, but a sensation — the warmth of summer, the ease of release, and a subtle inner balance. Through radiant textures and soft tonal transitions, the image evolves into a calm, contemplative space.
