In the picture a young girl is seated on a bed positioned next to an open window. The inspiration for this painting emerged from a specific evening etched into my memory. On this evening, I eagerly anticipated witnessing a meteor shower, a spectacle promised by the news as one of the highlights of August 12, which extended into the 13th.
As I gazed out of the window that evening, my anticipation was met with a surreal scene. I witnessed stars descending from the sky, gracefully falling one by one. The atmosphere was imbued with a soothing breeze that caressed my face, enveloping me in a sense of tranquility. What struck me most was the seamless interplay between the emotions evoked by the warmth and pleasantness of summer and the undercurrent of solitude.
The color palette of the painting predominantly consists of various shades of blue and green, meticulously chosen to accentuate the sensation of nighttime. These colors work harmoniously to immerse the scene in the essence of the night, echoing the feeling of calmness and serenity.
The creation of this artwork holds a personal connection to my circumstances at the time.
