Original artwork description:

In my artwork, oil dances with vivid emotions, a riot of colors expressing passion and drama. Realism meets expressionism, creating intense, almost tangible figures that tell a story of myth and humanity. The painting depicts the moment of the "return" of Perseus, one of the most famous statues in Florence's Piazza della Signoria, made by Benvenuto Cellini (1554), after the restoration that was carried out before the public's eyes. It is a bronze sculpture with the head of Medusa and is considered a masterpiece of Italian Mannerist sculpture. I celebrated, through dense, bold color, the excitement and emotion that such an event aroused in Florentines and visitors from around the world. The dynamism of the composition brings energy and deep reflection, a visual symphony that awakens the soul and stimulates thought in the viewer.
