The mist comes down thick into the Tunbridge valley before the sun has cleared the ridge. It moves low and slow, pooling in the hollows, blurring the line between field and hill. Two sheep stand in the foreground, indifferent to the cold, their fleeces beaded with moisture and lit to a pale silver-gray. They are not moving. The grass beneath them is heavy with dew, pressed flat and dark where their hooves have settled.

Behind them, the red barn surfaces from the fog in degrees, first a smear of color, then a shape, then a structure with a rusted tin roof and boards darkened by decades of weather. The hills behind it carry the last of the autumn color, muted now in the flat diffuse light, amber and ochre gone soft and distant. There is no wind. The valley holds its breath, wrapped in a silence that is not empty but full of the small, steady sounds of a farm morning coming on.

Quality is about longevity. I use a high-resolution Canon R5 Mark II to capture every detail of the Vermont landscape. Each piece is printed in-studio using professional-grade Canon Pro-1100 and Epson P9000 systems with archival pigment inks on natural cotton paper to create a print that will last for generations.
