I think of this aa a sci-fi painting, all the objects are symbolic, the same as my painting 'A Quiet Room'. It's not just what it appears to be. Why is the park quiet? Why are the dandelion seeds wind blown?

The creatures in the painting are inanimate objects, they are not alive, yet the viewer can't help but create a dialogue for them. There is no dialogue other than that created by their owners who are nowhere to be seen.
