Original artwork description
“I need a walk in the woods, to touch the moss, to listen to the roots, to watch the ivy climb, to intoxicate myself with the wild and secret scents, and then suddenly disappear into the spell of a fairy or an elf.” (Fabrizio Caramagna). This inspired me to portray two friends in the prime of their adolescence, caught off guard by exhaustion after hours and hours of intense but exhilarating walking in the woods of the Dolomites, immersed in the crisp mountain air. The sky is tinged with red, orange, and pink, veiling the rocky peaks caressed by the sun, which, now low, showers them with the golden light of the ' enrosadira', while silence flows in an embrace of stillness. The work is a hymn to the wonder of a perfect moment, in which time seems to stand still and nature whispers its magic.
