A whimsical, stylized cat sits upright on a geometric pedestal, its smooth white and cobalt-blue form standing out against a warm, richly textured ochre background. Its eyes are closed and its paws folded, while a curling tail reaches toward a small, colorful fish floating nearby. Cubist-inspired shapes, sculptural modeling, and a scratched, layered surface give the painting a tactile, almost relief-like presence. Sargis Zaqaryan blends humor, symbolism, and modernist design into a charming, contemplative portrait of feline calm, playful yet refined and full of quiet personality.
