Original artwork description
L'île d'Yeu, a smal island near the coast in France is being eroded by the sea. A cliff there is showing a strange pattern, some kind of passage way, a tunnel which suprisingly linked the sea deep down far away from our feet and the horizon above far away from our eyes. This chunk of rocks is evidently sculptural some landscape art from an artist point of view. From a photography i painted this strong motif hoping that it will represent the tectonic forces engaged there.
Materials used:
Oil paint, canvas, wooden strecher, light varnish and string.
