Bare winter trees. I explored the nervousness and sharpness of the branches set against the turbulent cloudy sky. Though devoid of seasonal leaves, the branches and twigs are tense, and full of expression and life. This painting is framed to an extremely high standard by one of Edinburgh's top framers.
