The Cheetah is a symbol of hard work and fighting the odds in my mind. They are my favourite animal and every time that I look at them I see their strength and grace. Sacrificing brawn and size for speed, these big cats perhaps need to be the most wary of the large predators because of their size.
I painted this portrait with this in mind - an atmospheric painting showing the Cheetah’s watchful gaze on their surroundings while darkness falls.
