The Last Light was born from my fascination with that fleeting moment when darkness begins to arrive, yet a final glow remains. I wanted to transform that feeling into a surreal woman whose hair becomes a landscape of birds, nests, and golden light.
The origami birds and birdhouses speak of memory, freedom, and the things we carry with us, while the golden egg represents the possibility of something new waiting to be born. I was inspired by soft, luminous colors and the contrast between the delicate and the mysterious.
This painting is special to me because it holds both endings and beginnings—a reminder that even in moments of darkness, there is always a last light.
