This contemporary painting explores the relationship between structure and spontaneity through a carefully balanced composition of branching forms and a solitary feline figure. The black cat, positioned within the network of lines and blossoms, becomes both an anchor and a quiet presence within an otherwise fluid, shifting environment.

The background unfolds in soft blue tonal fields, contrasted by layered greens and delicate pink accents. Fine linear elements intersect with more atmospheric passages, creating a tension between control and natural growth. The composition reflects a subtle dialogue between observation and intuition.

The presence of the cat is not incidental. During the process of documenting finished works, my own black cat often appears, quietly approaching the paintings, pausing, observing, sometimes even touching the surface with curiosity. This recurring moment became a point of departure for the work — not as a literal portrait, but as an integration of presence, familiarity, and silent interaction.

Executed in acrylic and spray paint, the painting emphasizes material depth while maintaining a clear, reduced visual language. The surface reveals both deliberate gestures and softer transitions, allowing the image to shift depending on distance and light.

The work is created on a heavy 100% cotton canvas (460 g/m²), using professional acrylic paints by Golden and spray paint by Amsterdam. The surface is protected with a glossy varnish by Lascaux, enhancing depth and color clarity. The edges are painted in continuation of the composition.

The painting is stretched on a wooden frame and ready to hang. It is carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard box with multiple layers of protective wrapping. The artwork is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
