Painting in contemporary figurative style inspired by the figure of Savina Petrilli (1851 - 1923), Italian religious and founder of the Sisters of the Poor of Saint Catherine of Siena. She did her utmost in strenuous service to her neighbors, cooperating with Divine Mercy to restore dignity to the poor, marginalized and suffering through gestures of concrete Christian solidarity. Pope John Paul II proclaimed her blessed in 1988.
