Artwork in contemporary figurative style representing the imaginary portrait of Saint Bernardine of Siena (Massa Marittima, 8 September 1380 - L'Aquila, 20 May 1444).  At the top left of the painting stands out like a lighthouse the symbol of Christ ("Orifiamma"): his golden and blue light spreads and invests the whole work. He designed it himself (for this reason today he is considered the patron saint of advertisers), and it became a famous and widespread emblem in every place, even on the facade of the Palazzo Pubblico in Siena stands enormous and solemn. Very famous his sermons and skillful his art of oratory, his ingenuity and his ability to hit the mark, passing his messages with artifices that today we will define with an English word: "Marketing".
