Wildflowers/"Earth Element" series (2024) Original Mixed-media Painting by Yana Naidenko

50 x 70 x 2cm

£388.54

The painting is executed in ochre, brown, golden, and deep earthy tones. These colors are directly linked to the Earth archetype. Through them, I wanted to convey a sense of stability, warmth, and security. It is the energy of fertility, life, decay, and rebirth – all at once.
There is no central object here; this work is about perceiving oneself as part of a single natural cycle.
Through the abundance of details, I sought to immerse the viewer in the living flow of nature: to evoke the rustle of grass and the songs of birds, the breath of the wind, and the fragrance of flowers

This work is a part of my "Earth Element" series
Nature has always inspired me — it is an infinite source of energy. In this series of works, I turn to the Earth. Earth as an element represents stability and firmness, a foundation for life and movement. Trees, flowers, grasses — everything changes and grows, following its natural rhythms, yet at the same time remains unchangeable and constant.

Creating these landscapes, I immerse myself in the contemplation of something greater than flowers and grasses. It is that which is within everyone — calmness and harmony, love and truth. That which is constant and unchangeable helps us to endure and serves as a support.

Communication with Nature helps me to see and feel this. And I would like to capture this state on canvas to convey it to the viewer.
