Original artwork description:

Environmental catastrophe meets science fiction as the Earth dies screaming. I saw a (made in China) pre-painted countryside flower scene in a charity shop and all I could think was, "That needs blood". I bought the wall art, added the blood, and the additional elements gradually came together. A 1950s screaming sci-fi heroine, troops from an American nuclear test, children running from a napalm strike, a nuclear power station, women fleeing a race riot; they all just seemed to complete the picture. The text is cut from magazines. A bright colourful piece with a sense of doom, it will be the talking point of your home.

The edges are painted grey and the work is strung, ready to hang.
