The drive to Arne
It’s November,
Couldn’t wait to see,
As I drive along the narrow lane,
Through the woodland of so many colours,
The creamy yellow light illuminated with the powder blue and pinky purples.
Words and expression of being here at Arne RSPB nature reserve -South Dorset.
Original expressive watercolour on rough textured watercolour paper acid free bockingford white 425gsm 200lb.
Visual memory and imagination I use a large flat hake to create wet on wet washes that naturally create the shapes and patterns of nature.I am drawn back every week to this area and it’s particularly special as I created it in front of some lovely people, watching my art demo last week.
