The Conspiracy (2020) Original Pastel Drawing by Dan Laurentiu Arcus

The obvious can become strangely unstable once enough people begin to question it.

A simple fact is examined, enlarged, reinterpreted and debated until suspicion becomes more compelling than the thing itself.

The search for hidden meaning can be seductive. Sometimes what begins as curiosity turns into a structure where every detail becomes evidence and every contradiction becomes proof.

At that point, the conspiracy no longer needs to explain reality. It only needs to keep it uncertain.
