A linocut of the interior of Tenjuan, a Japanese temple in Kyoto, looking out to the garden.
This is a multi-block linocut print: a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from separate blocks of lino. This is one of a small edition of 30 prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.
This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit straight into a standard off-the-shelf 10x12inch frame.

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a standard 10 x 12 inch frame.
